Priority Axis 1: Promoting Mediterranean innovation capacities to develop smart and sustainable growth
1.1 To increase transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks of key sectors of the MED area
TALIA (Territorial Appropriation of Leading-edge Innovation Actions) builds and develops the Social & Creative community of the InterregMED Programme by orchestrating the progress and results of individual projects within the Priority Axis specifically related to Cultural and Creative Industries on the one hand, and Social Innovation (Open Data, Social Entrepreneurship and Public Sector Innovation) on the other.
Innovation: One of the 4 Priority Axes in the InterregMED Programme aims to increase the transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks of key sectors of the MED area.
The starting point are the individual MED projects of this Axis, dealing with creative industries, open data, social enterprises, and institutional innovation, which are structured according to a ‘modular’ approach, namely addressing one or more of the steps of: Studying, Testing, Transferring, and Capitalisation. TALIA gathers all modular projects within communities of practice based on their commonalities to support joint transnational communication and capitalisation actions.
Social & Creative: TALIA is also responsible for the construction and development of the MED Social & Creative community, including the modular projects addressing the topics of Cultural and Creative Industries and Social Innovation. The goal is to activate synergies between public and private actors and to improve and expand the scope of the knowledge and results generated by their interaction.
