- MD.net – Mediterranean Diet – When Brand Meets Peoples (Associated partner)
Main role in project MD.net:
The MedEatResearch Center analyses the valorisation processes the MD and builds co-operation networks made of scholars specialized in Anthropology of Food and Food Education, as well as entrepreneurs and institutions to train new figures of researchers and professionals working in communication, valorisation and promotion of the MD. The researche focuses on historical and socio-anthropological issues of food traditions, productive chains, excellences, consumption and food-and-wine communication. One of the main goals of the MedEatResearch is to spread and promote the MD, especially among the young generations as good, healthy, sustainable way of eating and a correct life style. For this reason, the Centre organizes the course in “Expert in Food Education and Pedagogy of the Mediterranean Diet” and the Master in “Food and wine multimedia communication”. The mission and commitment of the Centre are indeed fully
in line with the goals of the project.
