The Tourism and Trade Department elaborates and manages actions to increase the competitiveness and economic growth of the enterprises, territories, products, tourist and commercial services through the use of communitarian, state and regional resources. It has a wide experience in the definition of sustainable tourism models, in testing new forms of tourism, in developing innovative tools to improve the competitiveness of tourism sectors and the creation of networks among European partners facing similar problems in tourism policies. Relevant experiences: a 2015-project for a new brand gathering the tourist products of excellence of the Emilia-Romagna region such as:UNESCO World Heritage, food and wine and wellbeing.
